Short version
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and nothing loaded from other companies. What you type into the complaint form never leaves your browser. The only thing this site remembers is the colour season you pick, and it keeps that on your own device.
Hosting
The site is served by GitHub Pages (GitHub Inc., USA). When you visit, GitHub processes technical data such as your IP address, the page requested and the time in server logs, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). GitHub may process this data in the USA; GitHub is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See the GitHub privacy statement.
What stays on your device
If you choose a season (Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter) in the menu at the top, your browser saves that one word in its local storage under the name wb-theme, so the next page opens in the same colours. It is never sent to anyone. Choose “System” or clear this site's data in your browser to remove it. This is strictly necessary for a feature you asked for (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG), so no consent banner is needed.
The complaint form
The form is a demonstration. It runs entirely in your browser: nothing is sent, saved or logged, and it clears itself after 30 seconds or when you leave the page.
Fonts and files
The typeface and all scripts and drawings are stored on this site itself. No requests go to Google Fonts, content networks or any other third party.
Links and email
Links to other sites (GitHub, sources, LinkedIn) only open when you click them; from then on, that site's own privacy rules apply. If you email me, I use your message and address only to reply, and delete them when the conversation is over.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and to complain to a data protection authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.
